Farrah let out a small noise as she rolled over, enjoying the warmth that had seemed to enveloped her. She couldn't remember the last time she had slept that well, then again she knew exactly what had caused her to sleep so well. She felt the heat rush to her face and opening her eyes she saw Ratchet's face only a few inches from her. She couldn't help but smile at how peaceful and cute he looked, and became slightly more flustered remembering the previous night's events.

She had no idea it would go that far. Did she regret? Not really. She already knew what her feelings for the lombax were and had came to accept them. She just hoped he wouldn't think she was easy... Considering her job and how easily she had been persuaded to come home with him. She felt a little bad she had abandoned poor Nefarious at her apartment. She hoped he wasn't worried. She sat up and flinched a little, she had forgotten that with her size sex usually left her a little sore. It wasn't nearly as bad as it had been with Xander though. Speaking of him...

Farrah groaned as she remembered her blunder from last night. She hadn't meant to say that prick's name! It just came natural! Ratchet had played it off pretty well but she knew it probably bothered him. It would bother any sane person! She shook her head and tried to push the embarrassing memory out of her head. She had to check in with Nefarious.

Getting out of the bed she located her panties and pulled them on along with her shirt before finding her phone. She wasn't surprised to see a ton of missed calls from the Doctor and quietly tip toed into the hallway to call him. He answered on the first dial and before either of them said anything Farrah heard the distinctive sound of Toby screaming in the background.

"I trusted you."

"Nefarious I'm sorry-"

"You never came back. I was here all night.  The disturbed squishy has been up fOR HOURS! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!" Farrah shifted on her feet, feeling guilty and embarrassed,

"W-Well...After me and Ratchet went out last night he offered to take me back to his apartment for a few drinks and..I just-"

"Wait...you slept with him?!"

"Shh! Don't say that in front of the kids!"

"Oh like they don't already know what that means! And I don't think Toby is exactly able to process words to begin with! Look, although I find it DISGUSTING that you let the space rat touch you, it's none of my business and I don't care. Just COME HOME PLEASE!" Farrah sighed and rubbed the bridge of her nose,

"Right, I'm sorry. I'll be home as soon as possible."

"I can promise it won't be soon enough." Before she could answer him Nefarious hung up and Farrah shook her head. She really didn't want to leave just yet, and she definitely didn't want to hit it and run, that was just rude. Eventually she decided to just hang around until Ratchet woke up. Besides, he lived so far from the apartment anyway that it would take forever to walk there.

When she walked into the living area she saw how barren it was, and wondered where Clank was. It's not like the robot has to sleep. She shrugged it off and decided to sit on the couch, that was until she felt the familiar empty feeling in her stomach. She was pretty hungry, nothing new really but she knew Ratchet probably would be too when he woke up.

Farrah blushed as the idea to make him breakfast entered her mind. She had never made breakfast for a guy before, it wasn't that she was a bad cook or anything, she just never had the opportunity. After a moment of debating she finally decided that it was something Ratchet would enjoy too and got up to walk to the kitchen.

Ratchet yawned as he sat up, stretching his arms above his head and feeling his back pop. He hadn't slept that well in awhile, he had Farrah to thank for that. Just the thought filled him with warm happiness. Looking over, however, he noticed the tiny girl was no longer by his side.

If it wasn't for her purse and a few other items in the floor he would have been afraid she bailed. Then again he should have known she wouldn't do that anyway, she wasn't that type of person. She was the type, however, to not wake him up for a ride home and that was the thing that would have worried him. He felt a little bad that he had kept her over to begin with, he knew she would be worried about Reighley. The girl was pretty sick after all...But she had Nefarious with her and he was technically a doctor, so she should she fine.

Getting up Ratchet decided to go look for his lady love, she probably was actually itching to go. Maybe he should stop by someplace and get her breakfast. Farrah didn't eat nearly and it actually kinda worried the lombax a bit. She was already so thin! If she didn't eat more she would waste away to nothing!

He wish he could just make her something here, though, he heard all that stuff was romantic. Sadly he wasn't exactly a good cook...in fact he wasn't a cook at all. He tried to make eggs once and that had been a disaster. After that Clank banned him from the kitchen. This was why he usually just went out to eat.

As he made his way into the living room it was then that he could faintly smell something. It smelled rather pleasant and after a moment Ratchet recognized it to be food. Perplexed he entered and was shocked to see Farrah standing in the kitchen, her back facing him, and appeared to be cooking something on the stove. How does one react to this? While it was shocking he had to admit it was also extremely cute.

After watching her a moment Ratchet got an idea and smirked. Quietly as he could he began to sneak up behind her, then when he got close enough wrapped his arms around her and rested his head on top of hers.

"Good morning, beautiful!" Farrah jumped a little, obviously surprised, but then realized it was him and relaxed immediately.

"Oh hey. I didn't think you'd be up yet."

"Eh, the bed got cold without you there. It's your fault." Even as he tried to scold her though he couldn't help but laugh when he saw her ears turning red. "Are you actually cooking?"

"Why do you sound surprised? I've been cooking most of my life."

"Y-yeah I know," Ratchet stumbled over his words, trying to correct himself, "I just meant here. It's not like you have to-"

He was cut off by her small giggling, something that he found to be absolutely precious,

"Yeah I know, but it's not healthy to eat out everyday you know. And don't try to say you don't, there was hardly any food here. You'd think you were at my house! You would think the galaxy's greatest hero would take better care of himself. Geez." Ratchet blink, taken aback how quickly he had been scolded. There were times when it was obvious Farrah spent a good amount of time as a mother figure.

"Yeah I know...I just usually don't bother keeping a lot here since I can't cook and Clank doesn't even eat." Farrah sighed and shook her head, turning off the stove as she did. Ratchet smirked and went on, "Maybe if you came over every night you could always make me food."

He had meant it as a joke but was shocked when Farrah shrugged, "Sure. I don't really mind. But I still have to watch the kids too, and you can't forget I work late."

"I was just kidding. I couldn't ask you to do that! Like you said you have the twins, and Susie and Toby too. You know, though, it's not like you have to keep working."

"I will not rely on you to take care of me and my family." She gently removed herself from his grasp to get plates and such, making Ratchet pout a little.

"It's not relying, its treating yourself. You could at least get a better job. I don't like the way you're boss talks to you." Not only that but he also didn't like the idea of her being around other men so often. He knew she wasn't the type that was going to cheat, he trusted her, but that didn't mean he trusted other men. Farrah was a lot cuter than she would ever believe. Even when she went in public casually he noticed people tended to stare at her.

"We've talked about this. That is the highest paying job I am able to get, and it barely pays the bills now. I know you worry, but I'm fine."

"Farrah, I love you, but you could be set on fire and say you were fine." The comment made Farrah laugh a little and he smiled, "I won't pressure you right now, but this is not the end of the conversation."

Farrah only hummed in response, making Ratchet shake his head. She was so stubborn, but he guessed it was kinda endearing. He knew she was only like this because she didn't want to bother him, and if they did break up then he guessed it would be a little messy. But little did she know he was never going to leave her. Ever.
